August 1, 2009 - (Saturday)

Win a Wii The KISSFM 103.5 Street Freaks will be out at Kiddieland  again to liven things up from 2-4pm.  These wild and crazy guys will be playing games, giving away lots of cool stuff like key chains, T-shirts, CD's and DVD's.  In addition, they will be demoing a Nintendo Wii and asking all of our guests to sign up to win a Nintendo Wii system for their home entertainment.  The Street Freaks will pick the name of one lucky winner and send them a Wii to their home.

August 1 & 2, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

Kiddieland is the place to be this weekend to see "Sharky" from the Discovery Channel up close and personal.  If you have ever watched Shark Week on Discovery Channel, you might have some concerns about getting too close to a shark, but have no fears!  "Sharky"  is a friendly shark that will be here to meet and greet our Guests from 2-7pm.  Look for him at our gazebo and make sure Mom or Dad comes along to take your picture.  swimning suits are not necessary, you'll be on dry land the entire time.

August 1 & 2, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

wttw11 is bringing out an old favorite to Kiddieland this season, its Clifford - the Big Red Dog!  Clifford visited Kiddieland last September and many of our younger Guests really loved it and asked to have him back.  Well the wait is over, Clifford  will be here to meet and greet all of our Guests from 2-7pm on both Saturday & Sunday at the Kiddieland gazebo.  Bring Mom and Dad with you to the gazebo and get a picture of the entire family with this cuddly character from wttw11.  This will be the first of two visits by Clifford  this season.  So mark your calendars and plan a visit to Kiddieland for both of Clifford's visits!

August 5, 2009 - (Wednesday)

Radio Disney Wacky Wildcat Wednesdays will be back again at Kiddieland  every Wednesday from 2-4pm all summer long until August 19th!     This is the Last Month!! Kiddieland is once again the place to be every Wednesday for Radio Disney Wacky Wildcat Wednesdays.  Every Wednesday from 2-4pm all summer long until August 19th, Radio Disney will be having a wacky wild time at Kiddieland  and celebrating summer.  Come out and get wacky with the Radio Disney Road Crew.   There will be rockin’ Radio Disney music, cool games and AMAZING prizes and FREE stuff!  Kids who come to Kiddieland on Wacky Wildcat Wednesdays to get wacky with the Radio Disney Road Crew can play games like High School Musical 1 , 2 & 3 Trivia Game, Wildcat Hula Hoops or Wildcat Basketball Toss.

August 8, 2009 - (Saturday)

WBBM-FM, B96 Street Team will be out at Kiddieland  with our friends from Pepsi  from 2-4pm.  This is the third of four visits this season with Pepsi  and B96 teamed up to talk to our Guests about Pepsi.  Remember, at Kiddieland it's Pepsi, free all day everyday!

August 8 & 9, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

Diego of "Go Diego Go"  swings into Kiddieland to meet some of our favorite guests -- like you!!  As you know, this happy little fellow is Dora the Explorer's cousin and he will be out to meet &  greet all of our guests from 2-7pm on both Saturday and Sunday.  Bring your camera and look for Diego at our Gazebo.  Mom or Dad can take a picture of the two of you, or we can take of pictue of you and your family with Diego.  You saw Dora the Explorer last month, so now come out and meet her cousin Diego.

August 12, 2009 - (Wednesday)

Radio Disney Wacky Wildcat Wednesdays will be back again at Kiddieland  every Wednesday from 2-4pm all summer long until August 19th!   There is just one More!!

August 15 & 16, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

Don't miss His Last Visit!!  Scooby Doo of Cartoon Network fame will make his third and final visit of 2008 to Kiddieland  this weekend.  Scooby will be at the park one last time this season for a "Meet & Greet" from 2-7PM on both Saturday and Sunday.  Remember, Scooby loves Scooby Snacks !  You can even have Mom or Dad take your picture with Scooby Doo!  How cool would that be? Scooby Scooby Doo, where are you?  He's at Kiddieland  for his Final Visit of 2009!  Don't miss seeing him this one last time this weekend.

August 19, 2009 - (Wednesday)

Radio Disney Wacky Wildcat Wednesdays will be back again at Kiddieland  every Wednesday from 2-4pm all summer long until August 19th!   This is the Last One!!

August 22 & 23, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

Don't miss His Last Visit!! "Sponge Bob Square Pants"   will make his final visit of the summer to Kiddieland.  This Nickelodeon character visited our park once last summer and our Guests have asking to have him back ever since.  So, we got him to come back again this season.  Sponge Bob will splash his way into the hearts of all of our guests when he visits from 2-7pm on both Saturday and Sunday for the last time in 2009.  Don't miss your last chance to come out and meet Sponge Bob Square Pants.  You won't need your swimming suit, he'll be at our Gazebo.  You can have Mom or Dad take your picture with this under the sea star.  Maybe Mom or Dad will want their picture taken  too.  How great would that be?

August 22, 2009 - (Saturday)

August 29, 2009 - (Saturday)

WLIT-FM Chicago's "lite" station will be hosting a Bask to School Bash at Kiddieland from 2-4pm.  We don't have any details at this time, but we will post them as soon as we get them from the station!

August 29 & 30, 2009 - (Saturday & Sunday)

August 30, 2009 - (Sunday)

WBBM-FM, B96 Street Team will be out at Kiddieland for the fourth and Final installment of "Kiddie-Kart Grand Prix".  Children will get to race Big  Wheels around a designated course right here at Kiddieland four times in 2009.  The fastest racers will qualify to win a great prize.   We are working out the details with the B96 Street Team  and will post more details as they become available.  Boys & Girls start your engines and race on over to Kiddieland and take part in the B96  "Kiddie-Kart Grand Prix".
