 How do I get there?

 

DIRECTIONS TO KIDDIELAND: The following are some simple driving directions that we would tell you if you called and asked us how to get to our park.  There is a link at the bottom of the page that will take you to a map site that will give you door to door directions from any address you type in.  Some of our guests have told us that the directions given were not always the best way to get here and often found them a bit confusing.  If you have suggestions that might make it easier for our guests, please contact us with your suggestion.

 

If you are driving on either 94 or 294:

 

From the North on 294:

(Buffalo Grove, Lake Forest, Deerfield, etc.)

          294 South to Irving Park Road East.

          Irving Park Road East to Cumberland.

          Right (South) on Cumberland.

          Cumberland will change names – will become 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From the South on 294:

(Indiana, Southern Suburbs)

          294 North to 290 East.

          290 East to 1^st Avenue.

          Left (North) on 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From Wisconsin on 94:

          94 to 294 South.

          294 South to Irving Park Road East.

          Irving Park Road East to Cumberland.

          Right (South) on Cumberland.

          Cumberland will change names – will become 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From the north/northeast on 94 (Edens):

(Skokie, North Shore, etc.)

          94 South to Cicero Exit.

Cicero South to Foster.

Right on Foster.  Watch for signs for the Kennedy (90).

90 West to Cumberland South.

          Cumberland will change names – will become 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From the south side of Chicago on the Dan Ryan (90-94):

          Dan Ryan (90-94) west to 290 West.

          290 West to 1^st Avenue.

          Right (North) on 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

 

From Indiana on 80-94:

          80-94 West to the Dan Ryan (90-94)

          Dan Ryan (90-94) North to 290 West.

          290 West to 1^st Avenue.

          Right (North) on 1^st Avenue.

          1^st Avenue to North Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

 

 

If you are driving on 90 (Kennedy):

 

From the East on 90:

(Chicago)

          90 West to Cumberland South.

          Cumberland will change names – will become 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From the West/Northwest on 90:

(Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows, Elgin, etc.)

          90 East to Cumberland South.

          Cumberland will change names – will become 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

 

If you are driving on 290 (Eisenhower):

 

From the East on 290:

(Chicago, Chicago loop)

          290 West to 1^st Avenue.

          Right (North on 1^st Avenue).

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

From the West/Northwest on 53/290:

(Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Palatine, etc.)

          53 South.  53 South will merge into 290 east.

          290 east to North Avenue.

          North Avenue east to 1^st Avenue.

          Left on 1^st Avenue.  (Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues)

 

 

If you are driving on either 355 or 55:

 

From the south/southwest on 355:

(Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Downers Grove, etc.)

          355 North to 290 East.

          290 East to North Avenue.

          North Avenue east to 1^st Avenue.

          Left on 1^st Avenue. (on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues)

 

From the south on 55 (Stevenson):

          55 North to 1^st Avenue.

1^st Avenue north to North Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

 

If you  are driving on 88 (The East WestTollway):

 

From the west on 88:

(Naperville, Aurora, etc.)

          88 East to 290 East.

          290 East to 1^st Avenue.

          Left (North) on 1^st Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

  

 

 

Guests who do not wish to take a highway:

 

From Chicago:

          West on North Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.

 

Some southern suburbs (etc. Tinley Park, Oak Park, etc.):

          Harlem Avenue North to North Avenue.

          Left (west) on North Avenue.

          Kiddieland is on the corner of 1^st & North Avenues.
